I am a Licensed Psychologist in private practice who provides psychological services to adults, older adults, couples, and groups.  I have a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University.  Over the past nine years, I have worked with adults with a wide range of mental health concerns.  I have worked in a variety of mental health settings.  I provide therapy to adults, older adults, couples, and groups.  I have particular skills and interest in treating emergency service personnel.

I consider myself to be a realistic and straight-forward therapist.  I employ different therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused therapy, both of which are highly supported by research.  Seeking therapy is a sign of strength, not weakness.  When people face personal challenges, it is a strength for them to realize that they may benefit from professional help.  In most cases, I believe clients have solutions to their problems and may benefit from guidance from someone who can help them alleviate mental health symptoms and make positive changes in a relatively short amount of time.  A collaborative relationship between the therapist and client is very  important and I am here to help the client meet his or her goals.  Please call me if you have any questions about my services and/or qualifications.
